2013 Refund to Expire

The regular three-year statute of limitations expires on April 18 for the 2013 tax return. This means no refund will be granted for a 2013 original or amended return that is filed after April 18, 2017. Keep in mind this statute does not apply to balances due for unfiled 2013 tax returns.
